Like everyone else, you can learn to do Adaptation Practice provided you are willing to try. Life expects this of us, not more and not less. To change you have to make an effort.
The Practice starts with what you can do – not with what you can’t yet do. As you try to do what is suggested, no matter how little that might be, you will change.
In The Practice we are not concerned with success and failure as the rest of society is. We are only concerned with trying. We are careful not to compare, criticise or judge ourselves or others. And so there is no place to blame, condemn or punish. The Practice does not give rise to guilt or a sense of failure.
All we are concerned with is, are you willing to try?
