Letters about AP
"The changes that have come about in me due to training in Daily Life Practice are remarkable … in an important negotiation at work I was seeing an important business deal becoming unobtainable. I am a scientist by training and emotions had not been this side of my horizon but from day two of starting AP I realised that I had emotions. … I go for the idea of taming emotion because now having become acquainted with it I realise that it was wild and difficult to control. I lost that business deal and because of AP I coped better than I could have imagined possible and surprisingly things turned out even better than I had hoped for."

"I came to Adaptation Practice in a trough of agitated despair … Everything in me wanted to get rid of
these awful emotions
… I had been told there might be some relief soon after starting and in fact an enormous relief came almost immediately ..."

"Through training in AP I have learnt to do what needs to be done without putting it off. This is especially significant with not putting off feeling emotion and is now in stark contrast to my earlier tendency to run around doing about four things at once and trying to convince myself that in this way I was getting more done. … I now focus more on the moment and what I am doing in it and opening to the feelings that are trying to seduce me into doing other things (especially to go off into thoughts) and this has helped me to deal with just about everything in life more effectively.

"Adaptation Practice seemed to be offering something realistic, obtainable and possible. … Confrontations, challenges and even threats are now met with a feeling of strength and being sure of where I am. Life is so much more enjoyable … It seems the most natural way to be.
